Rachel Montroy
Rachel Montroy is a ceramic sculptor living in Hopkinton, New Hampshire. Her studio is at the Currier Museum Art Center in Manchester, New Hampshire, where she is the Ceramics Manager and Instructor. She is also an adjunct professor at the New Hampshire Technical Institute and the New Hampshire Institute of Art. Her sculptures have been shown in galleries across the country. In 2002, Rachel received a Bachelor of Art in Studio Arts with a concentration in Ceramics from the University of New Hampshire where she studied under Marvin Sweet. In 2008, she received a Master of Fine Art in Ceramics from the School for American Crafts at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. There she studied under Richard Hirsch and Julia Galloway.
